Reichsbanknote. Ein Hundert Mark zahlt die Reichsbankhauptkasse in Berlin ohne Legitimations= prüfung dem Einlieferer dieser Banknote. 100 100 Berlin, den 21. April 1910. Reichsbankdirektorium Wer Banknoten nachmacht oder verfälscht, oder nachgemachte oder verfälschte sich verschafft und in Verkehr bringt, wird mit Zuchthaus nicht unter zwei Jahren bestraft.

Obverse symbol

Blue-printed note over blue underprint. Depictions of Mercury and of Ceres, both above depictions of the Imperial Eagle. Central rectangle shows note's valuation, etc. with underprint of the Imperial crown, staff, and sword with rays emanating outward. Serial number printed vertically in green along both the left and right of the main, bordered pane. Green-colored seals of the Reichsbank Directorate appear at lower portion of this pane. Anti-counterfeit warning appears at lower left- and lower right corners of this pane. A watermark-pane is at left.

Reverse symbol

Dark-blue-printed note on an underprint of very small dots gives the appearance of the paper being darker across the main, bordered pane and lighter at the watermark-pane. Germania seated under an oak tree with shield and sword. Next to her is shown the symbols/tools of agriculture, industry, and medicine (plow, anvil & staff). At left, ships of the Imperial fleet. The serial number is shown in green at upper and lower center, and at the bottom of the watermark pane as well.
