Red, blue, and brown. Portrait of J. V. Snellman (1806-1881). Finnish statesman and nationalist. Finance Minister at the time of the introduction of the Markka in 1860. Large 5000 in centre, with denomination in words in Finnish and Swedish below it, with Series year, 1939, directly underneath. Two signatures in bottom centre.
