In the center, the issuing institute “BANQUE DU CONGO BELGE” and below the value “CINQ FRANCS” and the words “PAYABLE A VUE À”. Four possible emission locations: STANLEYVILLE, LÉOPOLDVILLE, MATADI and ELIZABETHVILLE. On the left, vegetation, palm trees and the huts of a Congolese village. On the right, the watermark. The ticket number is printed in black. Signatures are printed in black. At the bottom, the article of the penal code is printed on three lines in a pediment.
