On the upper border, the issuing institute “BANQUE DU CONGO BELGE ET DU RUANDA-URUNDI”. On the left, a security background made up of two Congolese stars and the number “100”. Above, the value “CENT FRANCS” and the words “PAYABLE A VUE”. Signatures are printed in black below. On the right, the watermark and the date of issue. In the center, two mahouts on their elephant in front of a palm tree. The series and banknote number are printed four times in black.
