THE UNITED STATES Forty Dollars. This Bill entitles the Bearer to re- ceive Forty Spanish milled Dollars, or the Value thereof in Gold or Silver, ac- cording to a Resolu- tion passed by Con- gress as Philadelphia, Sept. 26th, 1778. XL DOLLARS.
