The front of the banknote features a portrait of King Boleslaw I the Brave - the first King of Poland. To his left is a Romanesque portal, while to his right is the crown of a young oak tree from the Drzwi Gnieźnieńskie (Door of Gniezno) from the scene of the display of the corpse of St. Adalbert.

The reverse side is decorated with a silver denar coin of Boleslaw I the Brave with a silhouette of a bird and the inscription PRINCES POLONIE - One of the most famous coins in the history of Polish minting. On the left side is an image of the rotunda of St. Nicholas in Cieszyn, and on the right - a lion stretched on a plant twig from the frame of the Drzwi Gnieźnieńskie (Door of Gniezno).
