Obverse symbol
On the left we see three female figures holding the number “1”, and below them we see the value of the banknote.
In the center we see military banners in the background, one of them with the Hungarian coat of arms, and also two cannons with cannonballs in front of them. In front, we see a frame with the inscription “ISTENÉRT; HAZÁERT; SZABADSÁGÉRT.” And inside the same frame is a male figure wearing a tunic, a cloak and a helmet, holding a sword in one hand and a banner in the other. He is standing with his feet resting on the upper limbs of another male figure, with a fallen crown at the side of his head and a lash at the side of his hand.
Below is the value of the banknote in a frame with the Hungarian coat of arms shown twice, both above and below the value.
Further down, next to the year, we see a drawing with agricultural motifs.
On the right, we see a female figure leaning on a column, holding a stone in one hand and a kind of pencil in the other, with the intention of writing on the same stone. Next to the column is a cogwheel (which represents industrial production and the working class), and behind the woman, an anvil, a sledgehammer and other kinds of instruments, which also represent industrial production and the working class.
