Obverse symbol

A black and white frame made of decorative shapes and including the value of the banknote "2" & "TWO". In the two upper corners, the value "2" is shown in a decorative form. In the middle, an Indian sitting watching a passing train. On the left, a portrait of General James Wolfe and on the right, a portrait of General Louis-Joseph de Montcalm. In the upper side of the panel are the words "Dominion of Canada" and above it on either side is the serial number.
