Obverse symbol

Camillo Beso (Count of Cavour) at lower left, Giuseppe Garibaldi at lower right; two allegorical women standing, symbolizing Italy and Uruguay, Italian and Uruguayan coats of arms and flags on ground to sides. Issuer name on top, face value in numbers on all four corners, in letters and numbers below images. Black series on left and right edges; red serial #s, 5 digits on left and right center; area for handwritten signatures on center bottom. Location and issuing date on upper sides of image.
