De Surinaamsche Bank te Paramaribo betaald aan Tonder in gangbare Specie DRIE HONDERD GULDEN PARAMARIBO, 1 JULIJ 1865.

Obverse symbol

Brown on light brown underprint. Frame composed of arabesques and volutes winding around the border. Coat of arms of Suriname in the center composed of two Indians surrounding a medallion containing a sailboat. Below in a banner, the national motto of the country in Latin: Justitia Pietas Fides (Justice, Piety, Fidelity). The place (Paramaribo) and the date are printed in the center. At the bottom of the note, a scene symbolizing the arrival of the first Europeans in Suriname with a scene of welcome and offerings. In the background, goods unloaded on the beach and a sailboat anchored in a bay. Texts in Dutch. Value "300" in the corners. A combination of signatures in black with the Director and the Director-President.
