France Prešeren (1800-1849)
Obverse symbolThe hand engraved portrait of the poet France Prešeren is the main motif on the front of the banknote. The profile silhouette filled up with microwriting completes the image. In the upper left hand area of the banknote a facsimile of Preseren's signature is printed by the intaglio method. In the middle of the back of the banknote part of the text from "The Toast" is printed.
The left side of the banknotes is stamped with “Banka Slovenije 1991-2001” in gold.
