Obverse symbol

Printed in beige and dark green tones. A highly ornate frame topped with a double-headed eagle encloses the central illustration and text elements, corners contain ornate panels with the number “250” inside a dark oval frame.. In the center is a large vertical oval medallion with a portrait of Don Cossack M. I. Platov bordered with laurel and ribbon-like flourishes, his name is printed around the inner edge of the frame, flanking the portrait are two seated female figures in classical attire. Below this a rectangular frame contains legal text, and below it is the year “1918” in an oval frame, flanked by signatures. The serial number “АЗ-62” appears twice, on top left and bottom right of the note. The background across the entire note has a repeating textured pattern composed of the number “250” and the word “РУБ”.
