Obverse symbol

Black print; yellow underprint; red seal; red block numbers. Exterior perspective of equestrian statue of Kusunoki Masashige in Kokyo Gaien National Garden outside the Imperial Palace, Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan, by Takamura Kōun, depicting Kusunoki Masashige in Samurai armour front-facing, riding on horse facing right, on the left, taking sunlight from space inbetween iridescent clouds. Chrysanthemum Seal on top-center. Vertical Kanji denomination on the right; Seal script denomination on top-left corner; Arabic numeral denomination on bottom-right corner. Red stamped Seal of the Governor in circle on lower-slightly-right; red stamped seal of Currency Issue Department in circle on lower-center. Block number on upper-left, and another one on lower-right.
