IL CASSIERE SPECIALE IL DELEGATO DELLA CORTE DEI CONTI La legge punisce i fabbricatori di biglietti falsi, chi li introduce e li usa nel Regno e chi, avendoli ricevuti per veri, li rimette in circolazione dopo conosciutane la falsità.

Obverse symbol

Italian Kingdom coat of arms at upper center, held by two lions. Encircled denomination 1000 at upper left and right. These elements connected with decorations of flowers, leaves and branches. Legal text in a cartouche at bottom center between two little cherubs laying down: the one on the left holding a bunch of wheat, the one on the right holding a branch and a bunch of grapes (both allegories of agriculture). On left side a young woman, facing down right, holding a compass (allegory of geometry) with on the right a seated little cherub holding an anchor and at his feet a barrel and a parcel (allegory of commerce). On right side a young woman, facing up left, holding a globe (allegory of geography) with on the left a seated child holding a drawing pad and at his feet a bust and some instruments of artist (allegory of visual arts). On the bottom background, at left a boat and at right a train. Everything above in dark green color. Text in black at center. Decoration with denomination "1000" in azure color, in transparency behind the text, at center. Series with "S" and fractional number and Serial Number on upper left and upper right. Matrix on the left border with writing "Regno d'Italia" in dark green color.
