IL CASSIERE SPECIALE IL DELEGATO DELLA CORTE DEI CONTI La legge punisce i fabbricatori di biglietti falsi, chi li introduce e li usa nel Regno e chi, avendoli ricevuti per veri, li rimette in circolazione dopo conosciutane la falsità.

Obverse symbol

Italian Kingdom coat of arms at upper center, held by two lions. Encircled denomination 250 at upper left-center and right-center. Legal text in a cartouche at bottom center between two young women laying down: the one on the left holding a gear and a work tool (allegory of industry) with a stylized cornucopia with fruits (symbol of food and abundance) close to her feet; the one on the right holding a a sickle and a bunch of wheat (allegory of agriculture) with staff of Asclepius (symbol of the health arts) close to her feet. Head of god Mercurio (Ermes) in rhombus on bottom right and upper left. Head of god Bacco (Dioniso) in rhombus on bottom left and upper right. On center left a little cherub facing down right holding up an eagle facing up right. On center right a little cherub facing down left holding up an eagle facing up left. All the elements connected with decorations of olive, vines, oaks and other plants branches; everything in dark green color. Text in dark grey and black at center. Decoration with denomination "250" in orange color, in transparency behind the text, at center. Matrix on the left border, with repeated writing "Regno d'Italia" and denomination "250 Lire", in dark green color.
