Printed in shades of red, orange, yellow, black, and green, the obverse bears Abkhaz text, the official apsars monetary symbol, and seven five-pointed stars. The visual focal point pairs a portrait of revolutionary figure Nestor Apollonovich Lakoba with a stylized cavalryman from the "Kiaraz" unit, framed alongside the state coat of arms of the Abkhaz SSR.

Featuring Abkhaz text, the back of the note depicts a traditional Abkhaz homestead complete with historic residential structures, set beneath a soaring hawk and a series of seven five-pointed stars. A modern QR code is integrated into the layout, and the design notably lacks a security thread.
